15.05.2008: HardwareOC.at NH-C12P Review   "Der heute getestete NH-C12P hatte keinerlei Probleme mit unserem Q6600. Jeder von euch kennt den Chip, schon unter 2400 MHz ein kleiner Backofen. Mit maximalen 56° nach einer Stunde Last bewegt man sich im guten Bereich. Auch die Chipsatz-Kühlkonstruktion auf unserer Platine hat sich gefreut, denn mit unserer Wasserkühlung mussten wir diese immer separat mit einem Lüfter kühlen. Auch mit Turmkühlern sind die Chipsätze deutlich wärmer. Beim NH-C12P erreichte unser 790i Ultra Chipsatz gleich 7° weniger." Test verdict: "Der NH-C12P wird auf jeden Fall wieder ein erfolgreicher Kühler werden."

05.05.2008: TT-Hardware.com NH-C12P Review   "En effet, le NH-C12H déploie une surface d'un peu plus de 2000 cm² contre approximativement 3100 cm² pour le NH-U12P. Ce dernier dispose donc d'une surface d'échange 50% plus grand... Etant donné que les NH-U12P et NH-C12P maintiennent le processeur à une température comparable, on ne peut être qu'impressionné par le travail accompli." Test verdict: "Que penser de ce NH-C12P ? Les performances brutes, c'est-à-dire les capacités de refroidissement du processeur, sont excellentes et comparables à celles du récent NH-U12P. Les deux heatpipes supplémentaires permettent donc de compenser la surface d'échange réduite de 33%... Mais le grand point fort du NH-C12P est sa hauteur inférieure à celle d’un NH-U9 moins efficace. Noctua a donc bien conçu son nouveau radiateur."

05.05.2008: : Overclock3D.net NH-C12P Review   "With a constant ambient temperature in the room of 10°C, it is clear to see the results from the NH-C12P are fairly impressive for a cooler of its size, undercutting the Intel cooler by 20°C when overclocked." 04.05.2008: WCM   "Aufgrund der fast identischen Höhe haben wir zum Vergleich einen Scythe Ninja Mini herangezogen [...]. Getestet wurde mit einem auf 2,93MHz multiplikatorübertakteten Intel Core 2 QX6700 Quad Core Prozessor mit deaktiviertem EIST, frei liegend ohne zusätzlichem Luftstrom. Die Last wurde mit 4 parallelen Thread CPU Burn-in 1.01 erzeugt. Wie man anhand der Tabelle deutlich erkennt, ist der Ninja Mini, obwohl auch gedrosselt für die CPU ausreichend, kein Match für den C12P, der selbst bei Supersilent-Einstellung (900UPM) so gut performed wie der Ninja bei vollen 2300 UPM." Test verdict: "Der Noctua NH-C12P ist zweifelsohne eine gute Ergänzung zu den beiden aktuellen Towerkühlern von Noctua. Die Performance ist ausgezeichnet, das Zubehör reichlich, nicht zu vergessen die sehr gute Wärmeleitpaste, die in dieser Qualität kaum einem Kühler beiliegt. Während der Kühler schon mit Nominaldrehzahl zur leisen Sorte gehört, ist er im Supersilent-Betrieb de facto unhörbar aber selbst für unsere 'warme' Testcpu immer noch bestens ausreichend."
